Saugus Design Event

Last week our Saugus store hosted a design event called “Love the Color that Surrounds You”. Our Design Associates and a Benjamin Moore Color Specialist shared tips on color and how to transform a space. The evening was filled with design inspiration, wine & cheese, gifts, discounts and raffles to round out the night! Take a look for yourself…

It was quite the colorful event, and what a great turn out it was!

Did you notice what’s on the projector? The team was talking about how to pull inspiration from what you love to create a space, whether that be certain colors, artwork, design magazines, even your favorite country singers!

What Inspired Us

Using the Seafoam Wave artwork as inspiration our team set out to create a spin on the typical beachy/coastal theme by using a more masculine color palette paired with contemporary elements. They wanted the art to take center stage and used very little color throughout the space so that your eye goes directly to the piece of art as the rooms focal point. Untitled-2

A designer room is also a great starting point when creating a room from scratch. Pulling from a neutral color scheme, our team added more interest to the space by using a variety of different textures and finishes such as glass, mirror, leather, wool, and velvet as well as adding a pop of color with the throw pillow and garden stool. Untitled-1

Finally the famous! Our team came across a photo of country duo Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert which inspired them to create a room based on two different styles. Blake is country and a little rugged while Miranda is country glam. This translated into a rich space with dark woods, leather and rustic accents to represent Blake including a copper centerpiece and antlers. To add touches of Miranda style a tufted sofa, shag rug, mirrored side tables and royal high back dining chairs were incorporated into the space. This inspiration is the perfect example of how two different personal styles and tastes can come together to create a cohesive design.Untitled-1
A well deserved great job, and thank you to our Saugus Team!

  1. Daryl says:

Sadly, the second desire was a bit more complicated.
These are fundamentally questions that never matter. Later Wild Arms releases took total advantageous
asset of the hardware available and look good.

Feel free to visit my site; funny online games – Daryl,

  2. Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off
the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser
compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The layout look great
though! Hope you get the problem solved soon.

    Kudos
